Death Cave Do Not Enter
Death Cave Do Not Enter
A great place that I remember is a cave on the beach of Salt Point, California. This cave was in the side of a large rock formation on the sand of the beach. It was very dimly lit in this cave. I could hear the wind whistling around me as a soft calming noise. I could also see and hear drops of water coming from the roof of a cave. These softly dripping drops would splash onto the multi-colored sand beneath my feet. My feet were sinking into the sand as I crouched inside the cave. I could hear the echo of the waves crashing on the beach just outside the cave. There was nobody on the beach so it was very calm and quiet. From the place where I was sitting I could see seaweed and other objects drifting onto the shore. The rocks all around me were different colors including red and tan colors. On some rocks there was some kind of green moss which made them appear as green rocks. These green rocks were soaking wet and slimy to the touch. Even if I touched them water would start dripping from the old moss. I also noticed that other people before me had been in this cave. There were markings and words “Death Cave Do Not Enter” these marks were scraped into the rocks probably with another rock. There were even pieces of seaweed and wood that had floated into the cave. That was an awesome place and maybe I will be able to visit it again.
